A Tribute to the Customers and Employees

Entrance SignI remember my family talking very fondly of the people who worked at Rudin’s Department Store, and I would like this blog to be a tribute to those who made a successful business possible. And what would a business be without its customers? Above the front door of Rudins hung a large sign that read “Through these doors pass the greatest people on earth…our customers.” Rudins Department Store is gone, but the stories and fond memories remain. I invite you to enjoy the photos and comments on this blog, and please add your own comments. There are several links  for you to visit. One is an interactive photo of the Rudin employees in 1939, taken soon after Dowds-Rudins became Rudin’s Department Store.
